PRE-DANCE: | A 45 minute creative movement class introduces 4 years olds to the world of dance. This class is specially constructed to help them be expressive while developing motor skills. |
COMBINATION CLASS: | An exploratory course offered to 5 to 7 year olds, introducing basic techniques of tap and ballet. There is an elementary and continuing level. |
ONE HOUR CLASSES GRADED BY AGE AND EXPERIENCE ARE AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS 8 YEARS AND OLDER. |
BALLET: | A disciplined field of dance involving body placement, correct alignment and technique. |
JAZZ: | A class which puts emphasis on dynamics of movement and use of space: focusing on hip hop, lyrical, musical theater and modern. |
TAP: | The only field of dance which concentrates on the art of sound. It's technique is noted for the development of rhythm and coordination. |
ACROBATICS: | Oriented toward the athletic student who prefers a more physical expression. Strength and flexibility are improved while balance and agility training prepares for gymnastic movement. |
HIP HOP:
| A concentration including styles of popping, locking, and breaking for dancers 12 through adult who are enrolled in a jazz class.
